'' You don’t have a second chance to make a first impression. Develop an awareness of the effect of your work. Distinguish your Web pages with visuals that tell your story. Learn about basic design concepts essential to good Web publishing. This hands-on, project-oriented workshop will cover the anatomy of a Web page, design elements, and issues like constraints of different browsers, monitor size, graphic file size and resolution. next the workshop will cover the entire design process, from building a layout grid to developing an integrated design framework, to analysing and organising contents and laying out the page. The workshop will explore HTML elements as participants develop a Web page layout that conforms to good Web publishing practices and responsible use of graphics and colours.
