'' This is a high status masters program which puts into context statistical concepts for the business world. The degree is offered jointly by specialists from all six schools in RMIT Business and specialist statisticians from the School of Mathematics and Geospatial Sciences.
The program is offered through a flexible combination of lectures, tutorials and computer laboratory classes. Classes are held at least twice a week (often in the evening) over a two-hour period. Learning experiences outside formal tuition will be enhanced by assignments and projects creating a high level of flexibility in both the learning approach and modes of assessment. For example, because of the business focus of the degree, in some project work you will independently use the Internet to engage the history and philosophy of management science and the globalisation of the current business environment.
