CONCEIVING YOUR DEMO REEL
Conceiving a demo reel that dazzles is a creative and technical challenge. CONCEIVING YOUR DEMO REEL is the first class in our DEMO REELS 101 series. The class will cover the creative issues a director, cinematographer or editor faces when designing a reel. What are the criteria for choosing, excerpting, ordering, and presenting your best work? Titles? Opens? Effects? If you are at the concept stage of your reel, this is a great opportunity to look at sample reels of artists who get work, ask questions of industry pros.

CREATING YOUR DEMO REEL
CREATING YOUR DEMO REEL is a hands-on, 2-day production workshop where you build your reel using Final Cut Pro, Protools, and DVD Studio Pro. Make it happen - bring your ideas and your clips, and work with industry-authorized trainers and professionals to build and burn a finished reel on DVD. Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro is required ¨C or you can bring your own editor.

You¡¯ve built and burned a classy, pro demo reel that shows prospective clients and employers the full range of your creative vision and ability. Now what should you do? MAXIMIZING YOUR DEMO REEL offers strategies and tips for leveraging your experience to get jobs, and using your reel to build your professional reputation and broaden your visibility in the industry. Students from CREATING YOUR DEMO REEL will screen and have their reels critiqued in class by a panel of industry professionals in indie film, advertising and multimedia.
