CONCEIVING YOUR DEMO REEL Conceiving a demo reel that dazzles is a creative and technical challenge. CONCEIVING YOUR DEMO REEL is the first class in our DEMO REELS 101 series. The class will cover the creative issues a director, cinematographer or editor faces when designing a reel. What are the criteria for choosing, excerpting, ordering, and presenting your best work? Titles? Opens? Effects? If you are at the concept stage of your reel, this is a great opportunity to look at sample reels of artists who get work, ask questions of industry pros. CREATING YOUR DEMO REEL CREATING YOUR DEMO REEL is a hands-on, 2-day production workshop where you build your reel using Final Cut Pro, Protools, and DVD Studio Pro. Make it happen - bring your ideas and your clips, and work with industry-authorized trainers and professionals to build and burn a finished reel on DVD. Students from CREATING YOUR DEMO REEL will screen and have their reels critiqued in class by a panel of industry professionals in indie film, advertising and multimedia.
