'' TRIZ (pronounced TREEZ) is the Russian acronym for the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving. TRIZ began in 1946 when the Russian engineer and scientist Genrich Altshuller discovered that the evolution of a system is not a random process, but rather is governed by certain objective laws. TRIZ provides a proven approach to understand and solve complex problems where a solution is not readily available.

This course is intended to give someone with no TRIZ background a practical understanding of TRIZ, and a process and database to begin practicing and benefiting from TRIZ fundamentals in their daily work life. The practices in this one-day course are intended to change the way a participants looks at systems and problems, while providing a working knowledge of basic TRIZ approaches for system improvement.

Audience: Quality responsible executives, production engineers, development specialists, quality assurance managers, Six Sigma Greenbelts and Blackbelts.
