'' No appraisal interview can be effective without the right groundwork, and this course ensures that you will be able to carry out that groundwork in a thorough fashion.

By achieving the learning outcomes of this course you should be able to prepare confidently and effectively to conduct appraisal discussions. You should also be able to work with the appraisee to conduct and implement meaningful performance objectives.

Excellent job performance by individuals is the lifeblood of any successful company, and the appraisal and performance management process is a critical element in maintaining high levels of performance.

Managers who cannot manage performance effectively through the medium of an appraisal process are unlikely to be motivators and developers of their people. The consequences for the company of having such managers in key positions are potentially ruinous. This course, and the others within the same suite of courses, will provide the learning support necessary to prevent the development of this situation.
