Become aware of different television genres and the production management processes and skills each genre demands.
Begin to understand and be able to define the role of a television Production Manager and the relationships, duties and responsibilities the role involves
Become familiar with other roles involved in television production and how they relate to the role of Production Manager
Learn how to apply industry standards and work practices to the management of productions
Find out about the processes and procedures of a production office and the management of staff.
Course participants will also have an opportunity to practice budgeting and scheduling in a simulated production scenario.
