'' The module deals with the study of electronic fuel injection principles and operation. It is designed to upgrade the mechanic with the high technology features of the automobile. Emphasis is given to testing and troubleshooting of all electrical and electronic parts of an engine.
II. OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of the module, the participant should be able to:
1. Explain the advantages of having Electronic Fuel Injection to the vehicle;
2. Differentiate a carbureted fuel system from an Electronic Fuel Injection
system;
3. Analyze, test and repair electronic controls of EFI;
4. Diagnose and troubleshoot Electronic Fuel Injection.

Diesel or Gas Engine Mechanic
V. COMPETENCY LISTING:
1. Check and test fuses and relays.
2. Test sensors.
3. Test electronic control unit.
4. Test actuators.
5. Perform circuit rewiring.
6. Perform troubleshooting of different circuit.
