Course Description:

'' The module covers the disassembly, repair and maintenance of component parts under the power train and ride control of a vehicle.

II. OBJECTIVES:

1. Upon completion of the module, the participant should be able to:
2. Remove and re-install clutch assembly;
3. Overhaul transmission transaxle assembly;
4. Check and inspect brakes;
5. Overhaul differential assembly;
6. Overhaul steering assembly; and,
7. Maintain and troubleshoot automotive suspension system.

III. DURATION: 60 hours

IV. PREREQUISITE:

1. High school graduate
2. Vehicle Maintenance and Troubleshooting Course

1. Disassemble clutch assembly.
2. Inspect clutch sub parts.

4. Check clutch pedal free-play.
5. Dismantle gear box assembly (front and rear wheel drive).
6. Inspect gear box parts.

12. Clean and adjust drum brakes.
