'' This course is an intensive introduction to C++ and object oriented programming for existing C programmers. Through the use of lectures and hands-on labs, the student will gain practical experience in creating truly object oriented programs with the C++ language. The course is geared to existing C programmers and therefore follows a quick pace. For C programmers with “bad procedural habits� this course compares the C, non-object oriented way of solving problems, with C++’s object oriented techniques.

The Goal
At the end of this course students will be able to use the power of C++’s object oriented techniques to create truly object oriented programs.

Pre-Requisites
The student must possess a working knowledge of C. A reading knowledge of OO technology is also beneficial, but not required.
