'' This course was developed to provide the networking professional an in-depth understanding of the security weaknesses inherent in wireless LANs, the solutions available to address those weaknesses, and the steps necessary to implement a secure and manageable wireless LAN in an enterprise environment. This course addresses in detail the most up-to-date WLAN intrusion and DoS tools and techniques, functionality of the 802.11i amendment to the 802.11 standard, the inner-workings of each EAP type used with wireless LANs today, and every class and type of WLAN security solution available on the market - from wireless intrusion prevention systems to wireless network management systems. The Wireless Network Security course has been aligned with the Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP®) subject areas and will be of particular interest to those intending to sit for the CWSP® Exam (PW0-200).
Course Objectives
The Wireless Network Administration course is a comprehensive five-day course focused on the understanding of what wireless (802.11) networks are, how they work, how people find them and exploit them, and how they can be secured. This course is based on real world examples, solutions, and deployments.
