'' The purpose of Managing Project Scope is the definition and control of what work is necessary
for the success of the project, and what work is not. The required work is the project scope, as
opposed to the product scope, which consists of the features and functions of the final service or
product.
This workshop provides participants with a clear five-step process for managing scope:
�Scope Planning
�Scope Definition
�Create WBS
�Scope Verification
�Scope Control
Participants learn practical techniques for each of these steps. Throughout the course the role of
the Project Manager in the scope management process is examined.

Current and aspiring project managers, sub-team leaders, and team members. Project clients,
sponsors, and other stakeholders may also benefit.
