Image Editing for Digital Photographers teaches students about the basics of using Google Picasa. Google Picasa is a free image editing program that allows you to manage your photos easily and perform simple and moderate edits such as red-eye reduction and cropping
Students enrolled in this course can expect to learn:
How to download photos from your digital camera.
The theory behind common image editing tasks and why they are needed in the first place.
How to store your photos in folders
How to change what appears in a folder
How to create new albums for your pictures
How to sort your pictures using albums.
How to perform basic fixes in Picasa such as cropping, red-eye reduction, and more.
How to use Picasa to adjust the contrast and colour of a picture.
