The Musnad of al-Dar?m?, also known as the Sunan of al-Dar?m? is a collection of Prophetic had?th and narrations from the early Muslim scholars pertaining to various aspects of Islamic faith and practice. It was authored by the illustrious Had?th specialist and older contemporary of Imam al-Bukh?r? (194-256 AH), Ab? Muhammad ‘Abd All?h al-Dar?m? (181-255 AH). The Sunan is considered one of the most important books besides the six canonical had?th collections, although it was not included with them due to its not
focussing on Prophetic narrations alone.
