'' A continuation of XL 2 Elementary Portuguese, this course emphasizes present, perfect, and future verb tenses; conditional and subjunctive moods; commands; passive voice; idiomatic expressions; and further development of conversational skills using the Direct Method. Prerequisite: XL 2 Elementary Portuguese or consent of instructor at the first class; students who do not qualify receive a full refund with instructor verification. Enrollment limited.
