'' Sixty years of combined thermal analysis experience will be shared with students. The TASPCB one-day hands-on training class allows engineers to learn TASPCB while working on real problems. Below are just some of the topics discussed during the class.

Course Topics Include:

Session I: TASPCB Overview - Functions and Formats (8:30-12:00)
Importing ECAD Files-Extracting files and formats for each ECAD system Mapping Components-Smartmapping, adding components, managing the Master Library CFD-adding air flow, wedge locks, conduction planes, power dissipation Interfacing with Ansys and Icepak

Session II: TASPCB Workshop (1:00-5:00)
Participants are encouraged to bring in ECAD files that can be imported and modeled during the class. The instructors will work on a one on one basis to insure at least one and possibly more iterations can be run.
