The information in this class can open many business possibilities for inspectors, including pre-drywall inspections for buyers, draw inspections for lenders, warranty inspections, or municipal inspections.
The class is organized around the sequence of construction of a home. Different segments of the class cover planning, foundations, rough framing, steel framing, roof and ceiling construction, exterior wall coverings, flashing, roofing, fireblocking, rough plumbing, rough electrical, rough mechanical, interior wall coverings, and final plumbing, mechanical, and electrical. Also included are nonstructural issues such as safety glazing, stair construction, guardrails, light, insulation, and ventilation.
