We’ll cover the following topics:
- Overview of working with Flash, how to create and publish SWF files
- Understanding symbols, instances, scope, and working with dynamic objects
- Working with variables, operators, instance names, object properties and methods
- Writing functions, loops and conditional statements
- Event handling and animating programmatically with ActionScript
- Using the trace command and Flash debugger to troubleshoot scripts
These concepts will allow you to create frame-based navigation, build interactive buttons, manipulate text fields, control the display of graphics and much more!
