'' Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) is a powerful problem solving methodology aimed at tackling core product development issues. This program helps Six Sigma practitioners apply DFSS concepts so that they can foresee and eliminate potential defects before and during the design process. This five-day program delivers a thorough education on the DMADV (Define-Measure-Analyze-Design-Verify) methodology and is designed to help students master a variety of techniques for the design process.

DFSS is built around the idea that design is a truly cross functional undertaking. No longer is it the sole responsibility of a Product Designer.

While the course focuses on statistical design tools, it also emphasizes project management and includes an in-depth discussion of topics such as listening to and understanding the customer, financial analysis and supplier selection.
