'' Statistics is not everybody’s favourite subject but an understanding of the key principles is key to understanding, measuring and analysing the causes of variation. This understanding applies equally to process, product and service quality. This programme is aimed at providing that understanding and is a compulsory part of our Six Sigma Black Belt programme.
The approach of the course is for delegates to gain an understanding of how the statistics work and why rather than a detailed knowledge of what software “buttons�without understanding the implications. However, we will use the industry standard Minitab 14 software throughout the course to speed up the calculation process.
This three day course which includes a number of exercises and a final examination will enable delegates to understand:
How statistics helps you understand, measure and analyse the variability in products and services. The principles of probability distributions, how and when they apply. Sampling principles and techniques Confidence intervals and a variety of Hypothesis testing techniques. Correlation and Regression analysis Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) techniques and their application. ...''
