'' The Network+ Certification prepares individuals for a career in the administration and support of computer networks across all platforms. Network+ topics include: network troubleshooting, TCP/IP, network operating systems, network installation and upgrading, managing user accounts and passwords, remote access and administration, and fault tolerance and disaster recovery. On completion of this certificate program, you will be familiar with the features and functions of networking components, and possess the knowledge and skills needed to install, configure and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols and services. Additional topics covered include: technical ability in the areas of media and topologies, protocols and standards, network implementation, network support, new technologies such as wireless networking and gigabit Ethernet. You will gain knowledge necessary to pass the Network+ Certification exam.
