'' This hands-on class is an introduction to UML essentials, how to use UML for modeling and developing software systems. This provides opportunities for applying UML-based design (language independent). The class covers the method-neutral visual modeling notation defined by the Unified Modeling Language (UML) specification. Other topics covered: creation and refinement of object and case models, sequence and collaboration diagrams, object, statechart and activity diagrams, as well as mapping software components to architectural components.
