In this class, you will develop an overview of the U.S. judicial system with an emphasis on criminal and civil procedures. You will gain an understanding of how the courts work and how cases are processed. Professional conduct for court interpreters and ethical issues involving interpreters and translators working in the legal field will also be discussed.
