'' Preparation for taking the state exam requires intensive practice in all three modes of interpretation with extensive review of terminology. In this class, you will learn practical test-taking techniques and strategies. You will interpret lengthy and detailed utterances, fast and technical speech, complex legal texts or discourse containing colloquial language; and review med-legal terminology. All practice sessions will be conducted in the language laboratory. The class concludes with a mock examination similar to the state exams.
