'' When considering a green structure, designers must begin with the question: What design element would enhance the sustainable quality of a building? Through case studies, you will gain an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in designing a green building. You will examine the advantages of systems approach, the emergence of Whole Building design methods such as the Integrated Design model, and how each approach can impact the bottom line. Discussions on landscape design as an integral aspect of green design will be included.
