'' Network+ Certification is a CompTIA-sponsored testing program that certifies the competency of mid-level computer service technicians. Many industry and government employers accept Network+ as the standard in foundation-level, vendor-neutral computer certification. This certificate program provides an opportunity to gain knowledge that is essential to passing the Network+ Certification test, a valuable industry credential.
The Certificate in Network+ consists of one required class totaling 24 hours of lecture and hands-on instruction. 2.4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be awarded to the certificate graduate.
Program Objective
This hands-on course will help you develop the knowledge to be competent in the administration and support of computer networks across all platforms. You will be able to: troubleshoot networks, work with TCP/IP and network operating systems, install & upgrade networks, manage user accounts and passwords, control remote access and administration, manage fault tolerance and disaster recovery, and prepare for the Network+ certification exam.
