'' Security+ Certification is a CompTIA-sponsored testing program that certifies security knowledge mastery. Many industry and government employers accept Security+ as the standard for vendor-neutral computer security certification. This certificate program provides an opportunity to gain knowledge that is essential to passing the Security+ Certification test, for a valuable industry credential.
The Certificate in Security+ consists of one required class totaling 32 hours of lecture and hands-on instruction. 3.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be awarded to the certificate graduate.
Program Objective Students completing the certificate will be familiar with communication security, infrastructure security, cryptography, access control, authentication, external attack and operational and organization security.
Eligibility This certificate program is designed for individuals who have completed a MCP Certification and either Network+, CCNA or MCSE certification. Students with equivalent work experience will be considered. ...''
