Course Description:
'' This course will introduce you to managerial accounting, the process that uses financial information to organize and govern finances within an organization. It will give you a basis for understanding and analyzing financial statements and prepare you to make effective financial decisions at a managerial level.
After completing this course, youll be able to identify evolving management themes, understand the fundamental differences between management and financial accounting, and apply various types of management accounting systems. Youll be prepared to explain cost volume profit analysis and identify the major components of product costing systems. Youll know how to describe various types of business overhead costs, how to prepare budgeted statements, and youll understand variance analysis systems.
This course includes all required textbooks and access to expert instructors who can be reached by phone or e-mail.
