Course Description:

'' Living in Colorado makes it a must to know how to safely travel and camp in all seasons, including the winter. This weekend course will travel to Cameron Pass to learn the basics of over-the-snow travel, camp site selection, cooking over stoves, and new ways to enjoy the wintertime.
Our instructors are experienced winter campers and will share a variety of tips and tricks for staying warm and comfortable outdoors in the cold. Most equipment is provided (on a first-come basis) but participants must provide layered warm clothing (some items are available for loan).
Transportation by CSU van. The pre-trip meeting is mandatory to cover essential safety and gear information.
