'' Colorado State’s Executive MBA program is designed for advancing managers, senior officers, executives and entrepreneurs who seek a high-level learning experience while maintaining an active career. The program replicates a corporate and business environment with two classes held per week from 4:30 �8:30 p.m. at the Denver Executive MBA Center. The evening classes draw on a diverse mix of experienced professionals representing a number of Colorado, national and multi-national companies, institutions and organizations.
Focus on excellence in core management: This 40-credit Executive MBA program covers the fundamental aspects of advanced business including strategic management, ethical leadership, team dynamics, international and domestic business and economics, marketing, accounting, finance, information technology, e-business and the entrepreneurial enterprise.
Competitive advantage: The program centers on solid academic models with extensive use of business case studies and operating best practices. This foundation is further leveraged by the distinctive backgrounds of each individual professional student and the experienced business faculty. In most cases, the studies and concepts find immediate application in today’s workplace.
Evening format for flexibility: The program’s evening format is designed for maximum flexibility, allowing students to maintain their daytime careers and minimize impacts on weekends. Most professionals complete their Executive MBA within 21 calendar months.
Technology: Executive MBA students and faculty are supported in the program by a high-speed networked classroom using advanced presentation technologies consistent with a senior management meeting room. Throughout the course work, students often work in teams, using the collaborative software tool WebCT, enhancing each person’s skills in problem solving, networking, team building and decision-making.
