Course Description:
'' This course will build on the techniques taught in the Introduction to HTML course and teach the student to create more complicated website layouts. Students will learn to create multiple links from a single image and will also be taught how to create a framed document to display multiple website pages in one window. This course will delve further into the use of graphics on a web page discussing how to shrink and enlarge images, how to create buttons and icons and how to optimise images for display in a web browser. The course will also cover the creation of simple forms and drop-down lists and will introduce some simple JavaScript functions for creating rollover effects and opening new windows. Finally, the course will introduce the student to the concept of stylesheets and how they can be used to achieve greater control over website design.
