'' If you work in a visually creative field, the Certificate in Visual Design will be an ideal addition to your resume. The program spans many aspects of design, including interior design and decorating, photography, graphic design, fine art, and landscape design. Students gain a basic understanding and practical knowledge of visual design principles. This program is an excellent opportunity for individuals who already have some design experience but are looking for a way to expand their knowledge and, at the same time, formalize their experience and expertise within a certificate framework.
The Certificate in Visual Design can be completed as a general certificate or it can be completed as a certificate with a specialization. To complete the Certificate in Visual Design as a general certificate, there is no minimum requirement for optional hours in a specified area. To qualify for the addition of a specialization, students must complete a minimum of 80 optional course hours in an area of specialization.
