'' The Translation and Interpretation specialisation qualifies students to practise as state-authorised translator and interpreter. Students explore areas such as technical, legal and economic language and interpreting. They study a series of broad topics - from translation of environmental documents to liability suit documents.
In order to strengthen students�interpreting skills, the teaching methods vary - from case studies to role-plays and to exercises on interpreting dialogues. Interpreting dialogues concerns different situations, e.g. contractual negotiations, interviewing politicians and public officers. Other teaching methods are interpreting simulated police interrogations and judicial hearings.
