Photoshop is one of the most versatile applications in digital media creation. This class introduces the student to the basics of Photoshop as it applies to the video professional.

Day 1 Fundamental tools and techniques.
These include:

- Fundamentals of digital images and video
- Understanding the Photoshop interface
- Using the selection tools
- Cutting, copying, pasting, moving, and transforming pixels
- Painting pixels with selections and with brushes
- Using and manipulating gradients
- Working with multiple layers

Day 2 Tools and techniques for video production.
These include:

- Manipulating photos and scanned images
- Cleaning up freeze frames
- Creating great titles using the type tool and layer styles
- Working with alpha channels
- Designing DVD menus and overlays

All classes are taught on the student’s choice of Mac or Windows.
