'' You will develop technical and practical skills in a broad range of computing subjects. These include computer technology, database design, web development and systems analysis and design.
In the first year you will focus on the basicsof computing. In the second year you can select areas that are of interest to you. Optional choices vary but normally cover areas such as e-commerce, multimedia and internet technology, professional development and business decision techniques. In the second year you also get the opportunity to undertake a practical project.
Upon successful completion of this course you can progress onto year three of the Computing for Business BSc Honours course.
Teaching/assessment
This course uses a variety of teaching methods including lectures, tutorials/group work, computer lab sessions and self-directed study.
