'' Year one gives you experience of what it is like to run your own company and how to plan a new enterprise. The main business functions and communications and the business environment are also studied.
Year two furthers understanding of business enterprise, the development of enterprise opportunities and how this works in the day-to-day practices and processes of real companies. You will also undertake a study project of the development of a new venture.
Year three involves researching new business opportunities and ideas and considers the further development and growth of a successful new venture, including exploring related contemporary business issues.
Typical modules include Developing Enterprise, Business Law, Technology and Innovation in Enterprise, Contemporary Business Issues, E-Business, Action in Organisations, and Enterprise, Management and Leadership.
At the end of this degree, you will have the tools and knowledge of entrepreneurs, enabling you to lead organisations to think and act in an enterprising way.
Teaching/assessment
Teaching will be delivered through formal lectures, more informal seminars, tutorials, workshops and e-learning packages. Assessment will usually be through a combination of individual and groups work, presentations, essays, reports and examinations.
