'' A common core of modules cover the areas of Anatomy and Physiology,Biomedical Sciences, Applied Physics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Pharmacology, Communication Skills, Psychology and Research Methods. The course structure allows you to follow a pathway specific to yourspecialism. The specialist modules are of two types:
Specialist theory modules
Clinical practice modules related to work-based training.
The specialist theory and clinical practice modules allow the integration of the appropriate professional qualifications into the Clinical Physiology Degree. Specialist and clinical practice modules are offered in:
Cardiology
Gastrointestinal Physiology
Neurophysiology
Respiratory Physiology.
Teaching/assessment
Comprises lectures, tutorials, workshops, laboratory practicals and work-based learning. Final year students complete a research project. Assessment consists of a variety of coursework and end-of-module examinations.
