'' This is a course for those who wish to study a broad range of drama and combine practical work, theory and historical study. You can expect to work collaboratively, to produce high quality work to deadline and to engage in appropriate levels of critical and theoretical analysis. The course produces graduates capable of working in a range of creative industries.
The course is designed to approach the study of drama both theoretically and practically, and to ensure a steady development of academic and practical skills. The course covers subjects such as performance practice, dramatic theory, directing, devising, staging Shakespeare, popular performance and contemporary theatre.
Year one work introduces some of the key aspects of Drama Studies. In year two there are more specialised options that broaden the curriculum, and in year three your individual interests can be taken further in a dissertation and negotiated study modules.

The course is delivered through workshops, rehearsals, lectures, seminars, and student-led, self-directed study.
