'' If you are looking for a career as a professional engineer with extremely good prospects and you are happy working in an engineering environment on aspects of design then this course is for you.
The course comprises a broad-based Engineering Design curriculum with depth in the areas of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Rapid Prototyping (RP) technology. You will become a specialist in CAD applications which includes Solid Modelling, Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics as well as some of the industry standard methodologies such as Design for Assembly and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis. You will learn the basics of Solid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Dynamics and Electronics through a mixture of lectures, tutorials and hands-on experiments.
