Teaching/assessment All modules are project-based with learning outcomes linked to assessment criteria. Teaching is tutorial-based, supported by lectures. Personal investigative research and the development of skills enhance the balance between the practical and the academic. The development of a portfolio with college and work-based material is seen as the focus of Personal Development Planning and Reflective Practice. Integrated project-based assessment takes into account the diverse nature of the student intake and the knowledge, skills and abilities required by the learning outcomes. Formative feedback is a key part of the teaching process and summative assessment records the success of student learning.
