'' Politics and Government impacts on us all. Studying this course enables you to gain an understanding of the way in which political choices, processes and ideas shapes Government and public policy.

Year one introduces you to current debates and concepts within politics and government. Modules include:

Introduction to British government and politics
Policy and Society
Introduction to Politics
Comparative global politics.
In year two you continue your studies with a core module in Governance and also Political Thought. This allows you to engage with the big ideas that have shaped politics and government.

In year three you continue to build your knowledge in Government by taking a core module in Public Policy Making. You also have the option of taking a work placement. Optional modules could include:

Government and Business
Making of a Global World
Environmental Politics
Public Sector Strategic Management
Health and Health Care
Globalisation and Democracy
Managing the Environment.
