Normally equivalent to 100 UCAS points, including at least one subject at UK A Level or international equivalent.
If English is not your first language, an IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent test) is normally required. Free English language tuition is available both before and during the course if you need to enhance your level of English language.
Graduates are guaranteed progression to the final year of our Public Policy, Government and Management BA Honours: gain both an HND and BA Honours degree in three years.
Career opportunities
Recent graduates are employed in many roles in the public and voluntary sectors, such as NHS Trusts, education, health and police authorities, local government, charities, environmental agencies and civil service agencies, as well as in private sector management.
Teaching/assessment
Teaching will be delivered through a range of methods including formal lectures, seminars, tutorials, workshops, and e-learning packages. Assessment will usually be through a combination of individual and group work, presentations, essays, reports and examinations, in addition to self-directed study.
