'' The drinking water treatment industry is facing increasing demands for improvement of finished water quality such as: optimization of pathogen inactivation/removal like E. COLI, GIARDIA and CRYPTOSPORIDIUM; disinfection byproduct (DBP) formation and control; taste and odour control; total organic carbon (TOC) effect; and the reduction of dissolved aluminum concentration. At the same time, public demand for improved water quality has been leading to tighter regulations and driving technological advances. To achieve improved water quality economically, you need to become familiar with the regulations as well as technological advances so you can modernize your existing drinking water facilities making use of the new technology. This seminar enables you to provide real solutions to the difficult task providing clean and safe water to the public.

To enhance participant’s knowledge in water quality issues and technologies.
To evaluate the effectiveness of different technologies and their role in improving water quality.
