'' Statistical analysis is being increasingly used in environmental assessment and monitoring projects. Consequently, a growing number of professionals are involved with statistical studies, both as technical experts and as project managers coordinating the activities of technical experts. This course is designed to familiarize participants with modern statistical methods for the analysis of environmental data. Applications to actual data are emphasized. The use of parametric and non-parametric methods is discussed. The course consists of lectures and use of MINITAB for data analysis.
Who Should Attend Environmental consultants, federal, provincial an local government environmental personnel who are involved with sampling and statistical analysis, environmental managers in industries, environmental faculty who want to include the application of statistics in their courses.
