'' Fluid flow, mixing and heat exchange are both common and critical to most process plants. Successful operation of the equipment depends on a number of important actions being properly addressed. The course is a tightly-packed review of basic principles and practical aspects of fluid movers: pumps; fans; compressors; mixers and agitators; and heat exchangers supported by an initial refresher on fluid flow and piping systems. The course will introduce new concepts and approaches through actual case studies, which will enable you to successfully implement new ideas. The focus is on methods for hands-on analysis and design.
