'' The implementation of environmental site assessment and remediation projects requires a thorough understanding of the principles and practices of modern project management techniques. This two day course will present the project management techniques adapted to environmental projects including: Phase I & II ESAs and Contaminated Site Remediation.
The following knowledge areas of Project Management will be discussed in the context of Environmental Projects: �Scope Management �Time Management �Communications Management �Risk Management �Cost Management �Quality Management �Human Resources Management �Procurement Management �Project Integration
Objective To provide participants with in-depth knowledge of Project Management Principles and Techniques. For each project, the attendees will be guided to determine: �What the project is? �Why is the project undertaken? �Who will be involved and what will be their responsibilities within the project? �When will the project start, what are the major milestones and when will it finish? �How the project will be executed and controlled?
Who Should Attend Personnel from public and private organizations who are currently project managers for environmental projects or are planning to enter the project management field for managing environmental projects.
