'' This workshop is intended for those who require better understanding of water distribution systems design. You will be expected to complete a water distribution system design under instructor guidance by using first principle methods and/or design aids. A workshop on water distribution system software will be conducted under instructor’s guidance.
Objectives To develop skills to design new water distribution systems as well as to design additions or replacements for existing systems. Also to enable attendees to analyze existing systems or to do back calculations to figure out any existing problems.
Who Should Attend Municipal engineers, engineering and public works directors, city engineers, superintendents of operations, water distribution system managers, infrastructure managers, safety inspectors and procurement officers from municipalities, consulting engineers, technicians and technologists, and contractors and other individuals who need a basic understanding of water distribution system design and are currently employed in the water distribution management field. ...''
