'' The English Language Center offers day and evening TOEFL preparation courses. Each course meets for three hours per week for seven weeks and costs $315.00. Students can gain skills that would be useful for either the paper-and-pencil TOEFL or the computer-based TOEFL. A practice TOEFL is available at the end of the course. Old Dominion University regularly offers the paper-and-pencil institutional TOEFL. Student scores from this TOEFL are accepted by ODU. Students who wish to apply to other universities must take the computer-based TOEFL which is given locally several times per year.
Students who wish to take the TOEFL course do not need to be enrolled in the English Language Center. Please call (757) 683-4424 for additional information.
