'' The graduate Sport Management program has received program approval/accreditation through the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM) and the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE). The ODU program is one of a small group of programs nationally that have received program approval. The curriculum is designed to academically prepare students for positions in the ever expanding and changing sports industry. Graduate students enrolled in the program pursue a number of sport career paths including college athletic administration, professional sport marketing and promotions, sport facility management, sport event management, recreational sports management and supervision, health club and fitness management, amateur sport organization administration, etc. ...''
