'' The Capstone College of Nursing offers the MS in Nursing Clinical Nurse Leaders. Course delivery is innovative with all courses accessible from the Internet and offered during the same semesters as on-campus classes.
This program prepares nurses to assume the role of clinical nurse leader for rural populations. The new role was developed by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing as a way to provide the best possible cost-effective care for patients. The clinical nurse leader relies on skills in patient care and requires in-depth knowledge in quality management, nursing leadership, evidence based practice and outcome analysis. Graduates of this program are able to design, implement and evaluate care management at the point-of-care across all settings in which health care is delivered.
