Course Description:
'' This Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate Program will enable the Green Belt to implement all of the five-step methodology in the process improvement of DMAIC, Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control. This program is completed in two separate weeks of training. This program requires the Green Belt to bring an improvement project to class to apply the method as the tools and techniques are taught. Laptop computers and "Minitab Statistical" software will be provided for the Green Belt workshops. Participants may purchase the license for Minitab software through The University of Alabama. There will be a comprehensive exam at the end of the two week period to assess competence in the use and application of the tools and techniques. Project completion must be demonstrated. A group of facilitation skills will be presented during the two weeks that will equip the Green Belt to successfully lead projects. At the end of this two week period the Green Belt will be able to lead small scale projects as well as support any Black Belt projects. ...''
